Memory Foam & Latex
Foam is dense and absorbent. It holds water in the core long after the surface feels dry, and trapped moisture in a foam mattress grows mildew from the inside out, which no cleaning reverses.
So memory foam and latex get low-moisture cleaning only. Surface extraction, minimal liquid, longer dwell on stains instead of more water.
If anyone offers to steam clean your memory foam mattress, say no. That’s the single most damaging thing done to mattresses in this market, and the damage shows up weeks later as a smell you can’t locate.

A queen mattress takes 45 to 60 minutes. Heavy staining adds 20 to 30 minutes.
Inspection & Core Identification
Five minutes. We identify the core, check the care label, and photograph existing stains and damage so there’s no dispute afterwards about what was already there.
Deep HEPA Vacuuming

Urine, Sweat and How Deep It Goes
Liquid on a mattress doesn’t sit on top. It passes through the cover in seconds and keeps going.
Sweat and light spills stay in the cover and the top quilted layer, which is what surface cleaning reaches. Those clean well.
Urine is different, particularly a full accident or repeated accidents in the same spot. It soaks into the foam or padding beneath and crystallises there. The surface looks fine after cleaning. The smell comes back every time the room warms up or someone’s body heat sits on that spot.
Treating it properly means saturating the affected area with an enzyme solution and extracting it, which works when the contamination is in the upper layers. Once it has reached deep into a foam core, no cleaning gets it out.

Stains That Lift and Stains That Don’t
Usually lifts fully: fresh spills, light sweat marks, food and drink, surface dirt, pet hair and light pet staining.
Improves but may not vanish: older sweat yellowing, set urine marks, blood that has dried, general discolouration from years of use.

Both Sides, or Just the One You Sleep On?
Most mattress cleaning in Dubai covers the sleeping surface only, and for most people that’s the right call.
Clean both sides when the mattress is double-sided and you rotate and flip it, when there’s contamination that has passed through, when it’s a second-hand mattress or a rental property changeover, or when it hasn’t been cleaned in several years.
Clean one side when it’s a single-sided mattress with a fixed pillow-top, which most modern mattresses are, or when it’s maintained regularly.
Both sides adds roughly 40 percent to the price and double the drying time, because the underside dries slower with no airflow beneath it.
Check the construction first. If your mattress has a quilted pillow-top on one face and plain fabric on the other, it’s single-sided and cleaning the bottom achieves nothing.
When Cleaning Won’t Help and Replacement Will
Cleaning restores hygiene and appearance. It doesn’t restore structure.
- Visible sagging or a body-shaped dip means the core has compressed. The mattress will be clean and still unsupportive.
- Springs you can feel through the surface mean the comfort layer has broken down.

Beyond that: rotate the mattress every three months, strip the bed and let the mattress breathe for an hour before remaking it, wash bedding at 60 degrees where the fabric allows, and vacuum the surface monthly with an upholstery attachment.
