Professional Cleaning & Maintenance Services in Dubai
Top Mop is a carpet cleaning company in Sharjah handling home, majlis, mosque, and commercial carpets with hot water extraction, off-site plant washing, and free pickup and delivery. We clean wool, silk, Persian, and synthetic carpets across Al Majaz, Al Nahda, Muwaileh, and the wider emirate with fixed AED pricing agreed before we start.

Sharjah properties carry a wider mix of carpet than most emirates. Villas with full majlis flooring, apartments with wall-to-wall pile, mosques with hundreds of square metres of prayer carpet. Each needs a different setup.

Wall-to-wall carpets in bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, and staircases get cleaned on site with hot water extraction. Families in Al Khan and Al Taawun book us seasonally. Operator note: clean the staircase and hallway more often than the bedrooms. Traffic lanes carry four to five times the soil load of a bedroom floor, so cleaning everything on the same schedule wastes money on rooms that don’t need it.

Majlis carpets take heavy sitting traffic, food and coffee spills, and constant foot contact without shoes. They’re usually large, thick, and awkward to lift. We clean most majlis carpets on site to avoid moving furniture and floor seating, but heavily soiled ones go to our plant.
Coffee and cardamom stains are the most common majlis job we see, and they respond to acidic tannin treatment, not general detergent. Scrubbing them with soap sets the colour.

Persian carpet cleaning in Sharjah is never an on-floor job. Hand-knotted wool and silk rugs have natural dyes that bleed and cotton foundations that distort if soaked and dried in place. We collect them, wash them by immersion at our plant, extract water, and flat-dry them under controlled conditions. Fringes are hand-cleaned. Turnaround is four to seven days.

Prayer halls, nurseries, and school floors need sanitization as much as soil removal. We work overnight or between prayer times so the space stays usable, using low-moisture methods where fast return to service matters. Large prayer carpets are cleaned in sections with air movers running behind the crew.

Offices, showrooms, clinics, restaurants, and hotels across Al Qasimia and the Industrial Areas get scheduled commercial cleaning with carpet work outside trading hours. Reception areas and corridors carry the visible wear, so those get more frequent attention than back offices.

Nobody explains this, so people pick the wrong one and pay for it.
On-Site Steam Cleaning | Off-Site Plant Wash | |
Best for | Wall-to-wall, fitted carpets, majlis | Persian, silk, wool, antique rugs |
Dry time | 3–5 hours with air movers | Returned fully dry |
Turnaround | Same day | 4–7 days |
Pickup needed | No | Yes, free across Sharjah |
Deep soil removal | Good | Excellent (full immersion) |
Simple rule: if the carpet is fixed to your floor, it gets cleaned on site. If it lifts and it’s valuable, delicate, or heavily soiled, it goes to the plant. Immersion washing removes more than any on-site machine can, but you can’t immerse a fitted carpet.

Price is confirmed at booking, not after. Pet stain treatment and specialist dye work are quoted separately if the carpet needs them, and you’ll hear that number before we begin.
Send photos on WhatsApp, and you’ll have a fixed quote within 30 minutes during working hours.
Pickup and delivery are free across Sharjah for rugs and loose carpets. We collect, tag every piece, and return them to your door.
Standard turnaround is four to seven days. Thick wool and silk sit at the longer end because drying can’t be rushed without risking shrinkage or dye migration. Urgent jobs can be done in 48 hours for an express fee, though we’ll say honestly when a rug shouldn’t be rushed.
We identify the fibre, test dye stability in a hidden corner, and log every stain by type. Ten minutes that prevents the mistakes that ruin carpets permanently.
All dry soil comes out before any water goes on. In Sharjah, this stage does the heaviest lifting, because most of what’s in your carpet is sand rather than sticky soil. A 3x4m wool rug from a villa routinely drops over a kilo of dry sand on the dusting rack. Wet that sand first, and it turns to mud in the foundation.
Targeted enzymes and pre-spray go onto traffic lanes and individual stains, then dwell eight to ten minutes. Skipping dwell time is why some carpets look clean, wet, and dull once dry.
Fitted carpets get high-temperature extraction with dual-vacuum recovery, rinsed until the water runs clear. Loose rugs get full immersion washing at the plant with controlled agitation, then centrifugal water extraction.
Air movers force airflow across the pile, cutting on-site dry time to three to five hours. Plant washing uses climate-controlled flat drying. Finally, the pile gets groomed so it sits evenly.
Fibre decides heat, chemistry, and moisture. Get it wrong, and the damage is permanent.
Wool needs pH-neutral chemistry and controlled moisture. Over-wet it and dry it slowly, and it felts and shrinks. Most majlis and Persian carpets are wool.
Nylon and polyester handle high-temperature extraction well and recover pile shape. Standard in apartments and offices.
Polypropylene resists water-based stains but holds oily soil, so it needs a degreasing pre-spray rather than more water.
Silk loses lustre under aggressive agitation and needs low heat with hand finishing.
Viscose is the fragile one. Soaked with the wrong solution, it yellows and stiffens permanently. If a company quotes you the same rate for a viscose rug as a nylon one, they haven’t identified the fibre. Ask them.
Organic stains like food, blood, and pet accidents need enzymes and cool treatment, because heat sets protein. Tannin stains from coffee, tea, and juice need acidic treatment, since alkaline detergent can turn a brown coffee ring permanently yellow. Grease and shoe scuffs need solvent applied to a cloth, not poured into the pile.
Pet urine is a backing problem, not a surface one. It crystallizes in the underlay, so surface cleaning removes the mark and leaves the smell. It needs enzyme treatment at the source, and heavy cases need a second application.
Two honest limits. Bleach damage isn’t a stain; it’s missing dye, and only re-dyeing fixes it. And old stains that have been scrubbed hard by hand often have distorted fibres that stay visible even after the colour lifts. We tell you which category yours falls into before taking payment.
Shamal winds push fine sand into every building, and it settles at the carpet base where household vacuums don’t reach. Sharjah sand is angular and hard, so every footstep drags it across the fibre like sandpaper. Carpets here don’t wear out from walking. They wear out from grit trapped underneath.
Coastal humidity adds the second problem. Areas near Al Khan and Al Mamzar hold moisture in carpet backing, and combined with constant AC use, that produces the musty smell people notice after a closed apartment sits for a few days. It also means drying matters more here than in dry climates, which is why we run air movers rather than leaving carpets to dry on their own.
Top Mop Cleaning Services LLC is a licensed, insured cleaning company. Our technicians are our own trained staff, not day labour hired per job.
If a carpet is damaged during cleaning, our public liability insurance covers it. That matters most on handmade rugs, where a single bad decision on chemistry or drying can cost thousands to correct. Ask any carpet cleaning company in Sharjah whether they carry insurance before you hand over a Persian rug. Most don’t.
Homes need professional cleaning twice a year because of the sand load. Households with pets, young children, or heavy traffic do better quarterly.
Majlis carpets used regularly for guests need cleaning every three to four months. Offices need quarterly deep cleaning with monthly attention to entrance areas, where most soil enters the building. Mosques and schools work on a term or seasonal schedule depending on footfall.
Pre-Ramadan is our busiest residential window. Majlis and living room carpets get booked weeks ahead as households prepare for guests, so reserve two to three weeks out if you want a specific date.
Post-Eid is the second surge, cleaning up after heavy hosting. Move-out season runs June through September when leases turn over, and that’s when move-in and move-out cleaning with carpet work gets tight. November through February is the quietest stretch and the fastest for drying.

Small rugs start around AED 80. Large rugs run AED 170 to 260, wall-to-wall carpets AED 150 to 300 per room, and a full villa package AED 700 to 1,300. Persian and silk rugs are charged per sqm. Price is fixed before work begins.
On-site cleaning of a standard room takes 45 to 90 minutes, and a full villa takes four to six hours. Off-site plant washing takes four to seven days, including drying, which is the part that can’t be rushed safely.
Often, yes. Coffee and tea are tannin stains needing acidic treatment rather than standard detergent. Older stains take multiple passes, and results depend on whether the dye has been permanently altered. We test first and tell you what’s realistic.
Yes. We use biodegradable, low-residue, pH-neutral solutions. Residue is the hidden problem with cheap cleaning, because it attracts soil and the carpet greys again within weeks. Once dry, the room is safe for children and pets.
Usually, yes, which avoids moving floor seating and furniture. Heavily soiled majlis carpets or ones with set-in food stains get collected and washed at our plant for better results.
Often, yes, for on-site work when slots are open. Call or WhatsApp early in the day. Plant washing can’t be same-day, since drying alone takes longer than a single day for thick pile.
Yes, free across the emirate for rugs and loose carpets. We collect, tag each piece, wash at our plant, and return to your door. Standard turnaround is four to seven days, with 48-hour express available for an extra fee.
Three to five hours with air movers running. Without forced drying, it can stretch beyond eight hours, especially in coastal areas near Al Khan. Rugs washed at our plant come back completely dry.
Yes, but it needs enzyme treatment in the backing, not surface cleaning. Urine crystallizes below the pile, so wiping the top removes the mark and leaves the smell. Severe cases need a second application, and odour usually clears within 48 hours.
Yes, at our plant only. Hand-knotted wool and silk rugs need immersion washing, centrifugal extraction, and controlled flat drying, with fringes cleaned by hand. Cleaning them on your floor risks dye bleeding and permanent shape distortion.
All of Sharjah, including Al Majaz, Al Nahda, Al Khan, Al Taawun, Abu Shagara, Al Qasimia, Muwaileh, University City, Tilal City, and the Industrial Areas. We also serve Dubai for clients with properties in both emirates.
Send photos of the carpet with your area and room count on WhatsApp. We confirm a fixed price and a slot, then either arrive on site or collect the rugs, depending on which method suits.
